The Environ software is designed for the creation and viewing of 3D digital terrain models. These 3D terrains are geographically and architecturally accurate, and can contain features of both the natural and built environment. Our simple interface means large and small projects can be undertaken quickly and easily with no prior experience of 3D design required.

Greater realism, lower costs

Generic buildings can be generated from any footprint and bespoke models can be created or imported to illustrate landmark buildings. A variety of regional plants, water features, structural and road data types can be imported and then customised within the software. All lighting and shadows can be customised to season and time of date and shadows cast are auditable to legal standards.

Environ Planner - Our basic package for the quick and easy creation of accurate 3D terrains. Contains Environ Builder, Environ Communicator and Environ Viewer.

Environ Builder - Environ Builder allows terrain data to be imported, edited and exported from a wide variety of sources to a number of different file types. Only available as part of Environ Planner.

Environ Communicator - Environ Communicator is a state of the art terrain viewer. Full version available as part of Environ Planner. Lite version available individually.

Environ Viewer - Environ Viewer allows users to view and distribute their 3D terrains to anyone without the need to for the viewers to purchase any additional software or alter file format.

The Virtual Outlooks team provide a number of services to assist clients in the creation, management and customisation of 3D digital terrains. Further Information

3D Terrain Construction - Using the Environ software the Virtual Outlooks team create a 3D digital terrain to the specifications of the client.

Landmark Building Modelling - The Virtual Outlooks team create bespoke full 3D photo-realistic models to scale of individual buildings for use within Environ or other compliant software.

Surveying and Data Collection - Our qualified surveyors will collect specific geographical information for use in building a client's 3D terrain. Our researchers are also available to obtain geographical data from a variety of sources.
