About Us

Formed in 2003 Virtual Outlooks have developed a unique 3D digital terrain modelling suite of software.

We believe we have a unique product that will be of great interest to planning departments and developers. Our software can be used by anyone who needs to visualise the built and natural environment. This enables the user to communicate complex issues to people with no formal training in either landscape or architecture.

We have recently completed major projects for South Lakes District Council and Barrow Borough Council. This project was funded by the Department for Communities and Local Government (formerly the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister) and successfully demonstrated the benefits of Virtual Outlooks' 3D modelling technology in the planning and regeneration arena. The project objective was stated as follows:

"To provide a simple recognisable mechanism to aid our clients and the general public visualise existing and proposed development for these developments to be viewed from an interactive viewpoint allowing full flexibility for those viewing the model to view existing buildings structures and environments and evaluate the impacts of proposed developments."
